Nice day for spay/neuter!
Written by Administrator
Wednesday, 12 March 2008

Our CareDay for March followed a day of snow, heavy in places. But despite the snowfall, the sun came out and it was a great day for spay/Neuter! We admitted 71 cats to our clinic! For our two very talented volunteer vets, this was barely a workout.  But for people bringing cats from as far away as Bargersville, Rensselar and Muncie area, it was a bit more work, but well worth the effort. Several gorgeous, friendly barn cats were placed with an Indy-area adoption group and are well on their way toward living the good life in new indoor homes. The FBI strongly believes that whenever possible, friendly free-roaming cats should be gotten "off the streets" and placed into indoor homes.

Many thanks to our great volunteers who keep things running smoothly, keep everyone well fed and make it a smooth, safe and FUN experience!

Gangbusters in February
Written by Administrator
Sunday, 02 March 2008
The last several months have been a whirlwind of activity, and our web site updates have suffered a bit as a result.  But February was a banner month for the FBI. At our Care Day on February 10th, we admitted 82 cats for spay/Neuter and care! Our two volunteer vets who are both exceptionally skilled in high volume spay/neuter techniques did an amazing job. Despite the frigid weather and biting wind, all the cats and volunteers were quite comfortable. The volunteers enjoyed the usual bewildering array of pot luck dishes, as well as some fresh, hot pizza. It was a good day all around!

FeralVilla Shelter Clarification
Written by Administrator
Monday, 22 October 2007

Please note that the Feral Bureau of Indiana does NOT sell the FeralVilla Outdoor Cat Shelter. This is sold directly by FeralVilla, through the FeralVilla web site . Our phone number was erroneously listed on a document produced by another TNR group. Our phone number (317-863-1290) is for assistance with Trap-Neuter-Return only and we cannot answer questions or take orders for FeralVilla shelters.

The FBI does, however, believe  that shelter sufficient to protect cats from the harsh winter weather is an essential part of TNR, and endorses the FeralVilla Outdoor Cat Shelter.
